Flexible Spending accounts - the best way to pay for dry eye

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and a Health Saving Account (HSA) is an account that you put money into to pay for specific out-of-pocket healthcare costs. A significant benefit to FSA funds and HSA funds is the money is tax-free. You can contribute up to ~$2,750 in an FSA if you are single and up to ~$5,000 if you are married (check with you financial advisor for exact number as they change yearly). Patients with FSA accounts are required to spend that money before the end of the year or lose that money. HSA funds do not expire at the end of the year.

We encourage our patients to pay for great effective Dry Eye Treatment using LUMENIS Optilight IPL using the tax-free funds from the FSA and HSA.

This is the best use of the funds as the payments are tax deductible and provides significant benefits to the patients, treats the root causes of Dry Eyes and invigorates the skin around the eyes with collagen.
